Tandridge Leisure venues offer far more than maybe first suggested. We are very lucky to host a small team of creative professionals who programme a number of creative activities and projects at our centres and also into the Tandridge community at community centres, halls and schools.
Activities in our centres include:
- Watercolour painting courses for adults
- Youth Theatre workshops
- Urban dance workshops
- Art schools
- and our Imagine programme of creative activities for under 6's.
During the holiday periods we programme a number of special creative events including:
- Family Christmas shows, previous productions have included 'Three Little Pigs' and
'A Christmas Carol' - Circus school
- Film projects
- DJ workshops
- Drumming and Singing workshops
All activities are led by experienced practitioners who have been trained to deliver each activity.

This is a special programme of activity aimed at children less than 6 years of age. The activities are planned to develop children's confidence, social skills, co-ordination and rhythmn and allow them the chance to challenge their young bodies physically and take risks in a safe environment. The programme has proven to be very popular amongst Tandridge residents and we are in the process of developing new activity sessions to add to our current programme of creative dance, stretch, arts, drama and bat and ball.
Imagine is different from your average class, it doesn't have the pressure of examinations but it does build confidence, allows your child to explore their imagination, social skills and challenges their bodies.
Imagine Dance - children will work with rhythm and use ballet, jazz, disco and tap as a basis for their class. Creative dance is dynamic, energetic and professional with an emphasis on learning, creativity and having fun.

Imagine Drama - an exciting new creative drama class. The group is taken on a journey through different amazing places such as outer space, an exotic rainforest, a king's castle or even the human body. Learn how to control your voice, facial expressions and movements as you create enchanting characters to awaken the imagination.

Imagine Art - an exciting, creative workshop which is ideal as an introduction to arts and craft activities for the very young. These workshops offer the chance to work with materials your child may not have at home or school and to try out ideas and explore their imaginations, which can be big and messy, in a safe environment.
