Tandridge Leisure has an enthusiastic team of staff, who run de Stafford Sports Centre and Tandridge Leisure Centre. Tandridge Leisure also provides drama and dance courses and swimming and sports courses plus a fun-packed holiday activity programme. When visiting our centres or attending a Tandridge Leisure activity, customers will immediately be aware that Tandridge Leisure staff are ‘customer focused’ and work as a team providing the ultimate in safety, quality and value for money. All staff are enhanced CRB checked and many are First Aiders.  At Tandridge Leisure we value our customers’ opinions highly, since customer feedback is an essential part of improving and innovating our leisure service.


Our history
Tandridge Leisure Limited (TLL) was created on 1 September 2000 when the Tandridge District Council decided to transfer it’s leisure services into a ‘not for profit’ community benefit organisation.  We view the company as a social enterprise as we manage and develop our business with a view to creating trading surpluses, which are reinvested back into enhancing and improving the quality of leisure opportunities and building community capacity. Tandridge Leisure Limited is registered with the FSA, the registered number is 29100R and the registered address is Tandridge Leisure Centre, Hoskins Road, Oxted, Surrey RH8 9HT.  The Accounts and Business Support Teams are based at de Stafford Sports Centre, Burntwood Lane, Caterham, CR3 5YX and can be reached via Reception on 01883 330533/344355. 


Our Team
Tandridge Leisure is governed by a Board of Directors which includes provision of staff members, co-opted community representative, the Managing Director (ex officio) and for two council nominees.  The Managing Director is supported by the Deputy Managing Director and the team of Senior Managers, the Business Managers, Co-ordinators, Officers and Assistants.

We will publish the ways in which customer feedback has brought about improvement.

What we expect from our customers
We expect our customers to treat our staff, our facilities, our property and the property of others with respect, in accordance with centre rules/etiquette. Failure to do so may result in a customer being asked to leave the premises.

Rest assured we will not pass any of your information on to a third party. From time to time we extend various offers from our partner companies. These may include news or additional details on their products and services. These offers would be sent by Tandridge Leisure and your personal information is not shared with any third party.

What time are you open?

How much will memberships cost me?

Will I have to pay a joining fee?
No, at Tandridge Leisure Limited we do not have a joining fee on any of our memberships.

Do you offer corporate memberships?

How can I join?
You can become a member by filling in a membership application form and making the appropiate payment at reception.

Do I need to bring my membership card in each visit?
Yes, your card needs to be swiped at reception, before admission to any activity.

Do you charge to replace a lost card?
Yes, there is a £5 charge.

Can I pay each time I come in to use the facility?
Yes, you can use the facilities as a Non member, and pay Non member rates, or you can take out a Centre membership and pay Centre Member rates.

Do I need to have an Introduction before I can use the gym?
Yes, all gym members need to have an induction before using the gym for health and safety reasons. These can be booked at reception.

Do I need to book for Group Exercise Classes?
Yes, it is a good idea to use your membership booking privilages as classes may get busy. Non members can book and pay 3 days in advance.

Where can I park my car?
We have ample parking facilities at out three sites, a small charge may be made at Tandridge Leisure Centre.

Can I get to you by public transport?
de Stafford Sports Centre:
The nearest train station to de Stafford Sports Centre is Whyteleafe South Station (approximately one mile away) and Caterham Station (approximately two miles). The nearest bus route are the 466, the 411 or the village bus.

Tandridge Leisure Centre:
The nearest train station to Tandridge Leisure Centre is Oxted Station (approximetly 100 metres away) and the nearest bus route is the 409 and the 411.

Can I use de Stafford Sports and Tandridge Centres?
Yes your membership is valid at both of these facilities, to use both gyms you will need a second induction charged at £5.

Do I need money for lockers?
Yes lockers take £1 or 20p coins which are returnable.

At what age can I attend Group Exercise Classes?
16 years, except for Aqua Classes which is 14 years, unless otherwise specified (please see downloadable programmes brochure for details).

At what age can I start using the Gym?
14 years (at de Stafford Sports Centre specific times only, please see programme for details).

At what age can I use the Sauna & Steam Room?
18 years.

How can I bookmark this web site?
